Technical QA Engineer

Being a Technical QA Engineer at Mobile Vikings includes:

• Testing new features (web, app, backend) and processes as thoroughly and swiftly as possible.
• Automating your test cases, so that regression testing can happen automatically.
• Coaching others in improving their automated testing game.
• Identifying points of improvement for our automated test setup and contributing to their implementation.
• Checking that everything integrates well (technology) and that it matches our (business) requirements.
• Aligning and liaising with the rest of the QA team and ensure the  E2E quality.
• Collaborating with external partners and keeping them aligned to ensure the best possible software experience for our Vikings.

• Who lives and breathes top-notch quality and carries out this message to others as well. 
• Who speaks both the technical as well as the business process language. 
• Who has prior experience with test automation, both front-end and back-end.
• Who has a background in one programming language, preferably Python.
• Who’s open and looking for ways to improve our own processes, and takes ownership.
• Who’s familiar with CI/CD pipelines, code version control and other common DevOps concepts.
• Who’s fluent in English.
• Who has a big plus if you have the ISTQB Foundation or similar certification in your pocket.
